Each side of a certain parallelogram has a length of 6. If the area of the parallelogram is 18, which of the following is the measure of one of its angle?

(A) 30'

(B) 45'

(C) 60'

(D) 90'

(E) 120'

6*3 =18 so the height of the parralelogram is 3 . Side is 6. Cathet against angle of 30 degrees is half the hypothenuse. SO A)

area = 6 * h
18 = 6 * h
h = 3

6^2 = 3^2 + x^2
x = 3√3

ratio of sides = 3 : 3√3 : 6 THIS IS 30 : 60 : 90 triangle
So answer should be 30. A.

A of parallelogram = h*b
h*b=18
h= 18/6 = 3

sin x = 3/6 = 1/2
x=30
