Line - (However, there can be no obligation to an entity unless that entity has a corresponding right.) My understanding with respect to 'that' says it is only trees which if have rights then we would have had the obligation to not trees. Option D, states Avoiding cutting down trees is not an obligation owed to some entity other than trees. Upon negating we get we do owe obligation to some other entity (for eg govt of country) to not cut trees so conclusion falls apart (as explained). But 'that' refers to only when trees have rights can we be obliged. How can some other entity play a role here ?
