For which $$p$$ the equation has no solution?

Equation 1: $$x^2+7px-16=0$$

Equation 2: $$x^2-5px+13=0$$

Equation 3: $$x^2-4px-17=0$$

Equation 4: $$3x^2-5px+13=0$$

I've made the prob myself. Have no OA.

a * x^2 + b * x + c = 0 does not have a solution in only one case: if b^2 - 4ac < 0.

Plugin your numbers and p's and solve that inequality. Example:
x^2 - 7px - 16 = 0
b^2 - 4ac = 49p^2 - 4 * 16
49p^2 - 4 * 16 < 0 well, your numbers are all screwed up, so the answers wont be pretty
