I was just wondering if anyone has found any useful books regarding application essays...kinda like the OG of app. essays?

I only read Montauk and Paul Bodine. BTW, if you run a search, you'll find some posts discussing the same topic .. like

yes, TONS of threads here if you spend some time searching (yeah, it's kinda sucky to search, but you'll LEARN a lot, I promise!)

On top of Bodine and Montauk, I highly recommend "MBA Game Plan", especially with its new version with supposedly more essays examples. It's a short book that summarizes the entire app process well for you.
