I say A.

b. by its failure of honoring its promise to its customers to keep
needs to be failure to

c. in its failing to honor its promise to its customers of keeping
promise of keeping is wrong- needs to be promise to keep. in its failing is also wrong.

d. because of its failure in honoring its promise to its customers in keeping
need failure to honor

e. because of its failure to honor its promise to its customers of keeping should be to keep

a. by failing to honor its promise to its customers to keep
b. by its failure of honoring its promise to its customers to keep so many "its"!
c. in its failing to honor its promise to its customers of keeping "in...in" doesn't sound right
d. because of its failure in honoring its promise to its customers in keeping use of "because of"
e. because of its failure to honor its promise to its customers of keeping use of "because of"

A seems to be the answer.. it is more direct and doesn't change the meaning like the other choices we are given
