Can you explain the difference bt B and D Paul? I'd almost thought that B is right.

All pronouns ending with -one, -body or -thing are singular.

So (A), (C) and (E) are out as they use a plural verb 'have'

Between B and D, I'll go with (D). 'without him helping us is correct'
B will only be correct if it was 'without his help' since 'his' is possesive and the 'help' has to belong to somebody (whoever is providing it).

D it is.

OK GUYS IM TOLD THIS EXPLANATION

THE SENTENCE IS IN ACTIVE FORM,,,,,,,,,HIS IS USED IN ACTIVE FORM SENTENCES, WHEREAS HIM IS USED IN PASSIVE FORM,,,,,,,,

SO I GUESS IT SHOULD BE "B'
