Only when a product is demanded by sufficiently large numbers of people is mass production feasible.

sufficiently large numbers of people is mass production
a sufficient amount of people would mass production become
sufficient people would mass production become
a sufficient amount of people is mass production
sufficient amounts of people is mass production

Would go with (D), although I do not agree with the usage "a sufficient amount of people"

Only when a product is demanded by a sufficient amount of people is mass production feasible.

Similar colored parts satisfy parallelism.

C it is.

A) sufficiently large is strange.

we should use number to modify people rather than amount.
Hence, B, D, E are erroneous.

I completely agree, chunjuwu - btu (A) has sufficiently large numbers of people. In spite of this, I'd like to change my mind to (A) - using "amount" with people sounds horribly weird!

(A) for me. We say number of people, not amount of people. People is countable, isn't it? Sufficient people is just silly.

Going with "D". I think D is best out of all other choices.
