Re: Finally some Admits!! Need help in deciding the school!! [#permalink]
Prsetige-wise I'd say Temple would be the best bet out of the four - THe average salary post-grad is much higher there than the other 3.

Hello all those who have been great help to me during my application process!!
I am glad to announce that I got 2 admits for Full-Time MBA-
1. Illinois Institute of Technology-Stuart School of Business.
2. Temple University-Fox school of Business.
Also I am hoping to get a positive decision from UIC and Bowling green state university in few days. Once again I require you help in deciding the better school to enroll in. The curriculum of all the 4 schools suite me equally. So please help me in deciding which school would be best to get in among the 4 mentioned below-
1. Illinois Institute of Technology-Stuart School of Business.
2. Temple University-Fox school of Business.
3. University of Illinois, Chicago.
4. Bowling Green State University.

Temple's quality of education is very high. My friend went to Wharton while his wife went to Temple for their MBAs. They said that the classes they took were comparable. There are obviously more resources at wharton and the brand name difference is great but again the actual knowledge you obtain through classes is not that different.
You should ask yourself where you want to live. If it is in Philly and surounding (PA, NJ, DE), than Temple is a clear choice. I do not know anything about other programs.

I can only speak to the Illinois ones. As far as those two go, I think the University of Illinois name carries more weight than IIT. If I were picking between those two, I'd be leaning heavily towards Illinois. However, I dont know anything about the other two programs, so.... I guess I'm not much help.

Congrats on your admits. Feels good don't it?

well,in my humble opinion, UIC does not carry any weight..it is UIUC that is more credible....couple of my friends went to UIC for their mba and i am not sure if it is worth going there especially for an international student...temple is a clear winner among all four.
