Scored a 560 Today Q41 V27.
Wrote the gmat back in Aug as well 560 Q39 V27.
The test is fair. Struggled with quant a bit. for example, solving for avg velocity is simple, but one question asked the to find V2 with all the other variables given...Easy question but under time constraints I had to guess....
I though Verbel was ok, until I saw my score. CR seemed a little harder than gprep. It seems that I havn't improved in verbal at all in the past 6 months...wierd.. Im pretty comfortable with SC and CR for the most part...RC was always difficult for me.
I have exhausted the GMATPREPS,

Can anyone shed some light on what I can do to increase my score. I read all these stories of success but can't seem to figure one out for myself.
Wrote the GMAT again on August 26, 2012 and scored a 670 Q48 V34. After a long struggle (maybe the longest in GMAT history) with the test I will probably will not write again and focus on my applications.
For those who are discourage and want to give up....DO NOT GIVE UP, keep going and as bad as it sounds, actually enjoy doing questions. Here are my 2 cents if anyone cares to know
Quant:
- Do
OG 11, 12, 13, Quant Review and buy the question pack for GMAT prep. Understand each question and know exactly why you got each question wrong. Time yourself on each question. If your taking longer than 1.5 min, find out why.
-MGMT tests - These tests help people score a higher quant because the questions are harder. Although some questions are not GMAT like, by doing them will help build a solid foundation so that the actually GMAT question seem much easier.
- Get a tutor! Get a math tutor who has mastered not only GMAT math but has a solid background in mathematics. My tutor opened the flood gates to GMAT math. Hard Questions that take an average of 1.5 mins to do would be cut down to literally 20-30 secs.
-Master the medium hard questions. If you don't master these then don't bother doing the hard questions. If you can't nail these, then you will never see a hard question on the exam.
- Time management! Know when to give up on a question. if you dont know it, effing skip it! If you start stressing cause of timing, you will score POORLY. you have 10 mins to do 5 questions. if your behind 2 mins, skip the next question that you find hard, minimizing your stress near the end.
