Find Integer E

(1) E = 1 ^ E

(2) E ^ 0 = E

The OA is D

My argument is its A because from S2

E could be 1 / 0 as

1 ^ 0 = 1

or

0 ^ 0 = 0 unless GMAT does not recognize 0 ^ 0

please let me know u r thougths

E is correct. Here's why:

(1) E = 1^E

What do we know about why raised to any power? A: always 1 --> Thus E = 1

SUFFICIENT

(2) E^0 = E

What do we know about anything raised to the zero power? A: result will always be 1 --> Thus E = 1

SUFFICIENT
