If your first interview didn't go well, should you contact the school?
I was not feeling very hot that day, and was kind of down (I suffer from depression from time to time..can't help it..it's genetic)
I am usually on medication and it helps. For some reason it didn't kick in that day and I don't think I was myself
Should I contact the school about re-interviewing?

I wouldn't. For starters, odds are, you did better than you think. Second, and I mean no offense by this, the depression thing might not play so well either. Yes, its a recognized issue these days, but do you really want to tell your school that you suffer from depression? Sure, its part of your life, and heck, it probably makes a pretty good essay story, but "I was depressed, can I have another interview?" plays less well.
And last, but not least, theyd likely be flippant about your call - can you imagine how many people want to reinterview each year because they were "sick"? - and just brush you off. Worse yet, they might even be pissed and interpret your call as a lack of respect for their time, your interviewer's time, or other candidates.
Now, if you really really really really feel your interview went poorly - you do have a choice - email them a note explaining your condition and apologizing for your relative lack of enthuisiasm that day. That's fair game.
