Basically we are asked to find the area of a circle inscribed in a square of a side of 7 units. In this case the radius of the circle would be half of the side of the square, so 7/2 and its area would be $$\pi r^2=\pi*(\frac{7}{2})^2=\frac{49\pi}{4}$$.
