Please find the entire Multi-Source Reasoning question in the screenshots attached and on mba.com (#4 of 7, http://www.mba.com/the-gmat-exam/gmat-e ... ?next=yes#)

For each of the following combinations of Kaxna artifacts, select Yes if, based on the information provided, the cost of all pertinent techniques described can be shown to be within the museum's first-year Kaxna budget. Otherwise, select No.

The budget tab tells us that the museum's first-year budget includes unlimited IRMS testing and a total of 7k for all other test.
7k equal (a) to 4TL tests plus 15 radiocarbon tests or (b) to 40 ICP-MS tests.

1) 2 fired-clay statues and 10 bronze statues
2 fire-clay statues = 2 TL which is covered in the 7k --> so 2TL plus 15 radiocarbon remain
But 10 bronze statues require 10 ICP-MS --> I would assume that 10 ICP-MS are less than 2TL plus 15 radiocarbon but I cannot be 100% sure, can I? So I crossed "No" but "Yes" is correct - can anyone explain please?

2) 3 fired-clay statues and 5 tin implements
Same problem as above: 3 TL are gone --> 1 TL plus 15 radiocarbon remain. How do I know that 5 ICP-MS are less than the remaining amount?

Thank you!
Günther
