E - because of the parallel composition and "cow will produce" . . . "for the farmer . . "

I think its A.

Parallel construct is missing in B C

D is out as keep them cool, the Holstein cow produces. singular plural error.

E is incorrect as provided and milked doesn't sound right with will produce.

E.

For the farmer who takes care to keep them cool, providing them with high-energy feed, and milking them regularly, Holstein cows are producing an average of 2,275 gallons of milk each per year.

Because of the use of them, we must finish the sentence with the plural cows. This eliminates B and D.

The difference between A, C, and E is potential. Only E uses the passive voice accurately to note the Holstein`s potential.

E all the way

E for me

them in the first line has to agree with the cows so we can eliminate A and D

in B and C, two different tenses are used which is not correct

in E, taking out the first part of the sentence leaves us with "provided with high-energy feed, and milked regularly, Holstein cows will produce an average of 2,275 gallons of milk each per year"

E doesn't tell you whom "provided" refers to... to the farmer or to "them". Also, since you have them in the first place, it seems better to have them in the later parts too. It might seem redundant, but IMO, it is not, in this particular case. So, I'll go with A, which makes the most sense for me!

A for me.
B and C are out because tenses are different in the same relative clause.
D and E should be added " and being...." in front of "provided" because they seem to talk about the subject " holstein cows" rather than "the farmer".

A for me.

C, D and E suggest that it is the farmer who is provided the high energy feed.

First of all, remove choice B as singular 'cow' does not go with plural 'them'
The same can be done with choice D
Finally, we can rule out choice E as it breaks the parallelism here. For the entire question, we are concerned with providing the cows (them) with something, but in E, it breaks that up by using "and milked regularly".

A is the best choice.

I don't think it is coz you can use them in "take cares to keep them cool" as to refer to the cows. Then why not the two other them refer to the cows again?
I think E gonna be fine if the whole underlined part is "for.........produce".[/i][/b]

Go with A for parallelism.

B, C parallelism error
D tense error
E didn't like the use of "will"

Except from the tense choice, it seems more logical to have PROVIDING than PROVIDED. Normally, considering the begining of the sentence, it should be the action of the farmer just after.
It is not a case of modifier because it is not said : "the farmer who takes...", nevertheless it seems that it would be better to get this than "provided".

no ?

I would go for E

I think this is a conditional sentence, although it does not have if.

let me use the "if" and rearrange the sentenct...

if the farmer who takes care ........... Holstein cows will produce .................

Only E uses that sturcture properly.

C / D / E are wrong since all are in ast tense (provided)

B is wrong since it uses milked.

Hence A.
