(A) 20
(B) 16
(C) 30
(D) 32

4 cans with 2 inch radius
so diameter is 4
placed in a box, which bulges , it means 4 cans fits perfectly or more in the box

so 1 side of the box will have length as 4+4 =8 inches
hence perimeter of box =32 inches

IMO D

Since the box is a square, the arrangement is obviously 2x2

So the side length of the square to just fit 2 cans should be the length of 2 diameters which is 2*(2*2)=8

This means the perimeter is 4*8=32

But in this case, the cans fit perfectly and there should be no bulge.

Since there is a slight bulge, the perimeter must be smaller than and close to 32

From our answer choices this should be 30

Answer is (C)
