C seems to be the best. D talks of professor's who are commenting on college economics but that area of group of professor's are not specified i mean to say suppose some are part time/ full time /speciliZed in one subject, also the case possible is they are commenting on college economics we dont certainly know whats their level of education whether they are phd masters so its just out of context and doesnt affects the conclusion.

we need to challenge george's reasoning. reasoning= economics taught in college is very confusing-and that’s because it’s all wrong and C directly weakens and says that george is wrong in saying that because right and wrong are relative

The question is what challenges the George's reasoning

George says that since ppl are force fed and they tend to spend lot of their time to learn it, they tend to defend it at later stages in career or life.

Only D challenges the George's reasoning.

Thank you for the question. A real Gem.

Even A would fit as a correct answer. It proves that college graduates who studied economics didn't necessarily develop the ferocious desire of teaching economics to others and just pursued their careers in different fields.
