Hello guys,
Just got back from GMAT a minute ago and I am extatic
. Got 720, Q44 (86 percentile) and V41(93 percentile), while I was hoping for something in the area of 680. I know that most of you wouldn't consider this such a good score, but I'm still pretty happy
The test went really well. I was most concerned about screwing up the timing, but it worked out well. I had 4 extra minutes for math and about 12 extra min. for verbal.
Some procedures in the testing center were plain annoying - they didn't even let me take my own pencils in (!!!) And, of course, there wasn't enough of the scratch paper, so had to ask for extra sheets twice.
Anyway, just wanted to say that this forum is INCREDIBLE, in terms of support, reviews, difficult problems.
Your probablity and combinations/perumulations guide is the best! I had 3 problems from that category.
Kaplan 2005 book & CD were key in preparation. PR CD was good to get the timing right a week before the test.
Well, now it's going to be the time to roll up my sleeves and get down and dirty with the essay writing. Or first - getting really drunk!
Good luck to all the rest of you.
hala
PS. Dear Paul and Venksune - you guys are awesome. Your contributions and explanations of the difficult math problems in the Quant section rock![/quote]
