Thanks kwam,
Yes that is my next dilemma. LBS was among my top 4 picks last year (others were Wharton Chicago and Columbia). My aims are Finance/trading/hedge funds. Initially my plan was to app to 5-6 schools in R1 this year. But now, I won't app to any school that I wont pick above LBS. Also, I'd limit my applications to only 2 or 3 schools. But, still not sure which schools to pick.
I'm half way through my Wharton essays already so Wharton's a goer. The other two I'm not so sure about. I'm even contemplating a cheeky HBS essay (even though I know I haven't got a hope in hell).
With Columbia, my original essays were so poor that I don't believe I can cover the lost ground in just 750 words (the limit for reapplication essays there). With Chicago, I absolutely loved it during my visit last year and made a huge effort with my essays (rhyme will tell you that my Powerpoint blew him away). But I feel that London provides a superior location/networking to Chicago's superior academics. Also, I'm finding the new Chicago questions a real pain to handle (esp question 2).
Perhaps I'll set up a poll soon and go by popular consensus.
