GMAT/GRE

Alex,
I have taken the GMAT and scored 770. Although I realize this a good score, I'm curious as to whether I can improve upon this. I wouldn't do so by retaking the GMAT, of course, but rather by furnishing GRE results. I will be taking that examination next week and, if my practice tests are any indication, should score 1580+ (one practice test was actually a perfect 1600). I am taking the GRE because I have been mulling a master degree in economics. Even though an MBA is preferable, I have studied for the GRE and see no harm in taking it anyways.
My questions, please:
1) Provided I score 1580+, would it be a good idea to send b-schools the GRE results in addition to the GMAT results?
2) Is there any concern that sending both results will lead the adcoms to question my sincerity about my desire for an MBA, esp. since the GRE will be taken over a year after the GMAT?
3) Is there any concern that sending both results will lead the adcoms to question my priorities by --- what could appear to be --- my attempt at trying to improve upon a 770?
Thank you for your time.
