GMAT official guide problems vs real GMAT [#permalink]

Hi, do you guys think that problems in both are pretty similar?

I feel like the verbal section is quite similar in both, but for me, many quant. questions in GMATprep exams were trickier than the difficult level problems in the official guide.

I wonder what it's going to be like for real GMAT

There are so many threads on this topic (here is one of the more recent discussions). In my experience, the actual GMAT was more difficult than the OG. The three OG books are essential, but I needed more to achieve a high score. The OG Verbal in particular has a reputation for being too easy. But as long as you're doing okay in the GMATPrep, then things should be fine.
