Re: GMAT Online - What We Know [Master Topic] [#permalink]
Forgive me if this has been covered (there are thousands of comments on this thread), but I wondered if anyone else worried about the limit on taking GMAT online only once. I have a Sept 5 test scheduled in the test center, but if COVID closes that test center, that means I could potentially only have one shot at the GMAT (online) before most round 1 deadlines. Has anyone heard about GMAC potentially allowing folks to take the online GMAT more than once (not accounting for the physical whiteboard exception for people who took before that was allowed)? I can't get anyone at GMAC to even address this question in webinars or via email.

I think since 80's have come back in the pop culture (Stranger things, Trolls World Tour, etc), GMAC did not want to miss out on the trend

Anyone know why there are no weekend test dates available, at least from what I'm seeing in the US?

Only sunday is off.
Thus you will not get any slot on sunday.
However due to time zone differences, some place it's half saturday off while some have half monday off.

Strange...even for the new dates, I'm not seeing any availability on Saturdays.

Edit: I'm able to see August, but it looks like the slots are just in extremely high demand.

Hello Everyone,

Just a GMAT aspirant here.

Has a confusion regarding the use of corporate laptop for giving GMAT exam. The laptop is supporting the ONVUE software and it has the minimum hardware requirements as stated by GMAC for online GMAT.

Should I use this laptop for the exam or do I need to get a different one? Please suggest.

.Hi! Does anybody know whether I can use a napkin (I know gmac says to scratch paper, does gmac consider napkins, scratch paper???) to erase what I write on the physical whiteboard? I cant find any other way to erase what I write with a fine non permanent marker...

Plus, since the GMAT™ Online exam became available in April, we have seen score outcomes and test taker score performance comparable to exams delivered in test centers. And here’s what one test taker had to say about the exam:

I'm more concerned about the whiteboard. Its more of a nuisance than a blessing.

The new rule says 'use your own physical whiteboard'. Does that mean we can use our own rough sheets ???

As it says - only whiteboards. No paper can be used. You are allowed the whiteboard, markers and an eraser. Anything else used to write is banned.

If I take the GMAT online can I also register for an in-person test a few days later, or do I have to wait the 16 calendar days still?

You can register a few days later or even on the next day but I don’t know that your score will be different ?

Yes you can. It is not counted against the regular exams.

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is in good health. I have a doubt, will Business schools still accept online GMAT score after 2-3 years? I know the online GMAT score has a validity of 5 years but still.

Yes.
All the Business Schools accept the score even if it is 2-3 years old.
As long as the score isn't expired, it works.
