Do GMAT folks change the POWERPREP CD's every month which they give when you register for the test. Is the downloadable version same as the CDs Please advice.

Thanks fopr your time.

God no. We're lucky if they change it once a year. Look at the "About Powerprep" info under "Help" or pay attention when the software boots up to see which versions they are and with what dates. More likely than not the one you downloaded and the one they sent have the exact same tests. If you can't tell after looking at the version info, call and ask, but if they'd released new tests the boards would be buzzing about it.

I don't know when the last time the GMAT people updated their Powerprep software but it hasn't been on a yearly basis. It should be updated on a yearly basis. The lazy bastards are so hell bent on making all that cash from people taking the GMAT they can't seem to reinvest their money on a regular basis and put out up to date Powerprep software.

So it means that I can take any of the test (downloaded or CD) with same comfort level.

There is an overlap of questions between the Powerprep tests and the OG, so do the Powerprep tests first so you don't skew your score due to familiarity with the questions.

I have plan to buy a new OG review book.
But recently, I found that there was two kind of OG 10th review, one published on December 2000 and another on january 2003. But the cover look the same, so any suggestion between these two?
