I just took the gmat and did horrible, scored a 33 percentil for verbal & 28 for math. I studied all the manhattan gmat books & did their on-line tests, which i scored 70 to percentile each time, taking about 12 diff practice tests.

Doe anyone have any study tips to translate the prectice scores to the real thing?

Were your practice tests in 100% accurate testing conditions? i.e. no extra breaks, strict time limit, no calculators or equation sheets, doing AWA also, etc.?

no, my pratice tests weren't in 100% test taking atmosphere.. I didnt use a calculator & i used penicl & paper... i timed myself sometimes but not all the time with the 75 min limit.

Well there you go. I could probably do a 50+ quant if I went untimed, or even if I gave myself 90 minutes. 75 minutes is a completely different story.
