tough one

"knowledge about the brain...." is CORRECT
"knowledge over the past 20 yrs about the brain" is WRONG

BCE remain
at the end there should be are
hence BC

IMO B

it was the amassing of knowledge done in last 20 yrs so it should be close to the amassing of knowledge....
rest all give us run -on sentences or awkward constr..

I think its, A ; amassing wealth of knowledge is over 20 years and its not the development of the brain that took 20 years
