Hey Everyone,

There have been numerous discussions about the correlation between Kap/PR/Arco/PowerPrep vs the real exam. Any idea on what the correlation between GMATprep and the GMAT is? Seems like the new software is testing thinking process, etc (in a weird way), so any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Personally, I like the GMATPrep software. If you are planning on taking the test in 2006, then the GMATPrep software is essential to your studies, like the OG and PowerPrep is now. Remember, in 2006 the new format of the GMAT will look like the GMATPrep. If you are taking the GMAT in 2005, then I think the GMATPrep software is slightly harder than the real thing, but the scoring is fairly accurate.

I took the GMAT Prep practice test from the mba.com website. I couldn't find any explanations to the questions. Are the explanations not provided?

Also, is the practice test from the GMAT Prep software similar to the real test?

No explanations are provided. Usually people just post them on here to figure out how the problem is done.
