I took GMAT Prep1 today and did fairly bad on Quant (I am ashamed). I ran out of time, and hence could not attempt beyond 27th question. So 10 questions I did not even attempt. Anyways I ended up with a mere 650(Q36, V40). Clearly my major point to improve is timing on quant section. I want to re-take GMAT Prep1 again in another 2 weeks to see if I have improved my timing skills. I dont want to take PREP2 now, I want to save it till the end.
So I have 2 questions?
1) Will I be able to tae GMAT PREP1 again? If so, do I have to install the software on a different computer than the one that I took the test today on?
2) Will I get the same pool of questions (which I got today) if I took the GMAT PREP1 again after 2 weeks?
Thanks in advance.
No need to install the software on a different machine. You can uninstall , remove the files from installation dir and re-install the GmatPrep.
GmatPrep has a pool sufficient for 2.5 tests , so even if you see 1-2 repeats , I am sure 2nd take will be quite helpful for you. You may note the number of the questions you see as repeats.
Also , if this time you score better (maybe in Q45 range) you are going to see some new questions from this range.
Many on this forum have reported that GmatPrep was a good predictor even with 4-5 retakes.
