Is the hundreds digit of decimal d greater than 5 ?

(1) The tenths digit of 10d is 7
(2) The thousandths digit of d/10 is 7

I would go with D. And here is my reasoning.

Tenth digit of 10 d is nothing but the Hundredth digit of d. And clue 1 states that it is 7 which is greater than 5.

Thousandth digit of d/10 again the Hundredth digit of d. Again clue 2 states that it is 7 which is greater than 5.

Either of the clues is sufficient to ans the question. Hence D.
