GMAT Score on Resume for Blind Interviews

Saw some topics on GMAT score on resume, but nothing specifically about including it on your resume for blind application interviews. If your interviewer is not going to see the rest of your application, then does it make sense to include your GMAT score if it is good?

In my case, I have my feet in two nontraditional industries, and I feel that putting the GMAT on there helps standardize things a bit. When I asked for guidance on where to apply, the consultants said "wild-card everywhere."

Or, do we assume that at this point, if the AdCom has already selected you for an interview, the interviewer knows that you've got some good things going for you and a serious application?

My thinking is that the interviewers job is not to assess your gmat/academic abilities. It's more about fit and behavior.

Agreed. I think if the interviewer cares about your GMAT, they'll ask. The fact that you were selected for an interview in the first place means that you've hit the basic standards for admission in terms of academic background.

Only one of my three interviewers so far has asked, and that was just out of curiosity since I said I wanted to go into consulting and she knew that the big firms will look at that stuff. The interview isn't so much about your hard statistics (grades, GMAT, undergrad major) because the AdCom already has that stuff in black and white--the interview is a chance to get a feel for the parts of you that can't be quantified. And to make sure you're not an arrogant jerk.

You would be surprised what interviewers are asked on the forms. I can assure you they are looking at everything about you. You may not put your GMAT down to prove you are capable of handling the work load but if you did exceptionally well by all means put it on your resume if you can fit it.

I had it on my resume for an interview yesterday, and I wasn't thrown out of the building. However, for a couple more next week, I might change it.

Having your GMAT on your resume might not help but it certainly won't hurt you (if the GMAT score is good). Of course I am talking about somebody who is applying to a b-school or applying for a job while at school. If you have been in the workforce for 3+ years, your SAT, GMAT, GPA, academic honors etc. are pretty much irrelevant.
