Hi

I am starting this thread to list all the tricks/ patterns used by GMAT. My source of learning these tricks is the AWESOME Gmat club's quant tests.. I request all of you to contribute.

1. Which is prime no?

a. -23
b. (1 -18)
c. ( 5- 12)
d.none

2. Any Diff between positive and non-negative integer?

a. None
b. undefined
c. yes.

Ans:

C. 0 is non-negative but not positive


Now, One gem from GC's test: M27-20

If x and y are integers, is x a positive integer?
(1) x∗|y| is a prime number.

(2) x∗|y| is a non-negative integer.
