I have one week left! I can hardly believe that all this work is quickly boiling down to a span measurable in days...hours...minutes...seconds...

Anyways, I just took the first GMATPrep practice test (750, 50Q, 41V), and I must say, I am very surprised:

1) I thought I was struggling tremendously (just hoping for >700 at that point) throughout the Quantitative section; turns out, the questions I missed, I knew how to do...just felt the time crunch.

2) Verbal went smoothly, but I honestly thought I did better than a 41 scaled-score; turns out, I missed 8 questions, and of the 8, 6 were SC! (The other 2 were CR.)

When the test wants to turn up the heat on you, they do so with SC! Has anyone else noticed a discrepancy in difficulty level when making a comparison among 700-level verbal questions, or is it just my perception/weakness?

I would say you shouldnt take the score seriosly ....gmatprep has a lot of questions that you have seen elsewhere ....so you shouldnt concentrate on the score instead look at the mistakes you have made and try to improve them .....keep focused and hit gmat as hard as you can :)

Thanks for all the well wishes! I really do appreciate the support this forum has provided in terms of morale and in terms of instruction.

Finished what will probably we my last CAT before the real thing...results as follows:

GMATPrep 1: 750 (Q50, V41)
GMATPrep 1 Re-Take: 760 (Q49, V44)
GMATPrep 2: 740 (Q49, V41)
Kaplan CAT (Online via Advanced Course): 720
GMATPrep 2: Re-Take: 760 (Q50, V42)

What to do now? (Test is Tuesday, today is Sunday.) :?: I've finished all of the verbal sections in OG12, and I really, really want to break a 44-45 on the real thing. Pray for serendipity? :P
