We all know that the OG's are lacking in that they don't have a high concentration of Q50+ questions. In come the GMAT Club tests. They seem to fill that void. But what about the GMATPrep database? I'm about to get serious about studying for the GMAT for two months, and am trying to figure out whether it's worth going through the GMAT Prep free questions, then buying Question Pack 1 and going through those questions, and then finally moving on to the GMAT Club tests. It seems that whether to do QP1 at all or when to do it would depend on the number of advanced Q questions in its question database. What's the verdict?

Hi there,

I think that QP1 (Question Pack 1) is a good value and has plenty of worthwhile practice on both the math and verbal side. Working through the GMATPrep database is a great idea although for Quant you may want to skip a whole bunch of the easy stuff (of which there is a lot). I would do all of the verbal. You may want to take the GMATPrep a bunch of times to get the most out of it before you work on the database. So, I might save the database for your last few weeks of studying.

Happy Studies,

HG.
