Got 7 on IR with no study on GMAT Prep should I still prepare for IR?

A 7/8 on Gprep is considered good but from personal experience real test day could pose more hurdles. For example, if you are planning to appear for the test in Q-V-AWA/IR or V-Q-AWA/IR order, you would most likely be exhausted post the ordeal and also possibly impatient to know your score which could affect the IR section ( which would be the last section in this scenario) and in reverse order if AWA/IR-Q-V is your preference than your mind could be preoccupied on the sections to come.

It would not hurt to go over a few strategies and solve a few questions to overprepare a bit to counter the real test anxiety factor that you most likely did not encounter in the comfort of your home ( I'm assuming you practiced in a relaxed manner as most people do )

Do spend a few hours on theIR section when you're taking a break from quant and verbal prep.
