There are many reasons to get an MBA, with increased career prospects being the most important for many MBA applicants.

What is the structure of this sentence? Is the ENTIRE second half an absolute phrase or just "being the most...."?

Interesting question.....

I think yes entire second half is prepositional phrase. But it has another phrase(being the most important for many MBA applicants.)
describing other(with increased career prospects).
