The timer has been taken out because of issues with Excel and users who were not familiar with Excel did not know how to fix it when issues came around, so they kept complaining about it, creating a distraction. It has been removed as the result.

It takes me a few days usually to assemble one and I welcome any help for the verbal and quant reviews. You can find the list of links here: https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmac-officia ... 40610.html

thanks team for great spreadsheet. just one question, i've downloaded the file and opened the sheet, but can't find the 'timer' function sheet inside. are there any compatability issues on this regard? (windows7, excel 2010) all i can see are the questions by section, error log and analysis tabs. Bobby

In case that you still want to practice with timer function, you could go here to use my errorlog file. This file could work with any source and the timer function works fine.

Hey bb , can you please confirm how is the difficulty level calculated in this sheet. I ask this question as I initially thought that it is based on the attempts for the same questions on the gmatclub website but I observed quite of few differences. For e.g. PS 174 has percentile - "5%" and difficulty - "Easy" in the excel sheet. Where as the same question has percentile "75%" and difficulty as "Hard" in the website. Link to the question: https://gmatclub.com/forum/the-parallel ... 07449.htmlScreenshot of the latest sheet with this question data highlighted.

The difficulties are pulled from the question thread from which they belong. When the difficulties are pulled it is a point-in-time snapshot, so given the responses change over time a difficulty will change. Unless someone updates the error log frequently then there will likely be question difficulties that don't align.

Thank you bb for these error logs, it'll help me and my study buddy in our study. Much appreciated from you and GMAT Club members. bb wrote: The GMAT Club Guide to The-Official Guide-for GMAT Review 2018th Edition The Official Guide 2018 is a great resource - it has real GMAT questions, all questions are arranged in order of difficulty, good explanations, etc but it has one major flaw - no way to sample specific questions or ability to target a specific area - for example all CR questions with idioms or all DS questions that deal with geometry. This Guide attempts to correct that flaw (and a little bit more), making Official Guide even better. Use this guide to:- Find details about every question available in the-Official Guide for GMAT Review
- Help find specific practice questions and build your custom practice tests that focus on your weak areas
- Automate your OG Practice with a timer and keep all of your results in one place
- Understand difficulty of each question (it is not very linear as you will notice). We have split difficulty into 4 groups (easy, medium, hard, and very hard). This split is based on the percentile of the question difficulty as determined by GMAT Club Timer sessions
- Explanations are linked to each question for easy reference
- All new questions are identified by "new" label
- Questions are numbered using the same format as in the OG (new update in this version)
- The split of hard/medium/easy questions has remained the same by en large. However, the location of harder questions has been moving around quite a bit.
- You can find previous OG 12, 13, 14, and 15 versions here, 2016 edition is available here and 2017 edition is here
- MGMAT Navigator Basic is another/similar tool available from MGMAT

Hi,
Thanks for this great log.
RC section does not have any difficulty level assigned. Is there any new version with correction?
Regards, Abhinav

You can go here and start there and drill down to each of the guides. There should be links to error logs if they exist https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmac-officia ... 40610.htmlPS. If they don’t exist, let me know if you would like to help build them. Thanks! BB. Posted from my mobile device
