Can R2 applicant still hope for the interview invite? Given that there are only 13 days left for final decision.

Have they started rolling out R3 invites yet?

Hey AlanSmithee - I applied to Haas probably around 12-14 hours before the R3 deadline. And I don't think you should be worrying yet.. No one from R3 seems to have gotten an invite Let's just wait and see where we get with this! Good luck do you.

Does anyone from R2 still have the same application status as mine below? Will it change at all? I have not received any update or invite from Haas but I saw some people said their status changed to something else like "final decision will be released" but still have not got updates either. What is the process here? Anyone knows?

Me too. IMO, I started to hope for waitlist now - especially when I saw one guy from my country already got interview. Haas class size is too small to fill both of us in.

My status just changed and now says that my application is under review. I'm not sure if this has any bearing on an interview invite, because maybe everyone not getting interviewed just had their status updated, but figured I'd just share this since this is the only update I've gotten since my submission.

I don't think that is an indicator of anything but here is what some other people think.

Also, some applicants from R1 has stated that it means you will be on waitlist.

Any hope left for an interview invite for R2 candidates???

With this week already ending, I am not hoping for much. However, according to haas, invites can go out until deadline date. I think people whose application just went under review, still have chances of getting invited. Others too, you never know, you may be next!! Wait until THE day.

As for me, I am back to the drawing board trying to reflect on what I did wrong and how to do better the coming year. Meanwhile, if I get lucky and get an invite, I will be thrilled.

Has anyone done a Skpe interview with the extended arms of the admissions committee.
Any experiences you guys would like to share ?

Honestly, I think they mean the same thing, but are just worded differently. I always personally understood that to mean that they could invite you to interview up to the deadline date. So if the notification date is on 2/21, you could theoretically get an interview invite on 2/20. I don't know how they will do that- notify, interview, make a final decision, give an admissions offer- in 24 hours, but I guess that is their MO. Perhaps if they have X number of offers to extend, and by the end of the round they still have a few spaces left and you're on the cusp, they then decide to interview you.

I guess all in all, if you're someone who hasn't heard yet, don't lose hope until they release decisions. I know- easier said than done.

At this point, with only a little more than a week left, I'm just hoping to get waitlisted.
