Hi Guys...
Any ideas as to how long the ADCOM takes to inform us about the interview decision post the submission deadline? I have applied on the 1st of April deadline
You should expect a reply within a couple of weeks from the deadline. Good luck!
HEC Paris' admissions process is the fastest you will find!

I have sent out my application for Jan intake on 1st of April. But still no feedback yet!
I would not worry much yet. You should probably get a reply by Friday.
Merci bcp! I hope so. HEC Paris is my first choice. In fact, I have sent out my application on 20th of March. It seemed that they didn't make any progress before the beginning of April. That's why I am so worried!

Yes I don't think they start working on the applications before the deadline so it really doesn't matter how sooner you sent it. As swj83 said, your application is for Jan and not Sept so probably of lower priority. Think positive and good luck!

Hey Guys.... does any of you know if the decision date provided on the application stages page is followed to declare the final results or the final decision could be sent out any time after the completion of both the interviews?

Thanks
You should expect about a day or two (maximum) before the date mentioned on the website for the final decision. The reason is that they have a committee meeting a few days before that deadline to decide so you can't expect a decision before that meeting. Good luck with your result!

I am curious about why such a prestigeous school attracts less attention than lots of ordinary schools.
well...I might be wrong here but I think there are a couple of factors. As per me the biggest reason is, the school has been kind of subdued in its marketing efforts so far to reach out and highlight its strong credentials (including strong industry links). As a result, for people who have not researched in detail, HEC might still come across as a more of a France focused school.
I am not a marketing expert but simple things like online banners help get the brand some visibility, which I imagine would definitely get the school a lot more attention than it currently gets. Some schools such as LBS does this quite aggressively as I have come across their adverts a fair few times but I can not say the same for HEC. I think this is one area that the incumbent class needs to help the school with.

I think most people are drawn by the FT MBA rankings. The HEC MBA is not a top 10 MBA program currently and think this is why less people are showing interest compared to LBS, INSEAD, HBS, Stanford, Wharton etc.
Nonetheless, HEC has made significant progress in improving its MBA offering. The FT ranking's top factor is the amount of money graduates make three years after graduation. Since the graduating class of 2014 will be the first class enjoying the benefits of these efforts, I would expect the school to go up several places in the rankings around 2017 (2014 + 3 years) i.e. in about 4 years from now.

Hi there,
Is anyone waiting for an answer from HEC? I applied two weeks ago, deadline is today. Not sure how long it will take before they send the interview invites.
