Hi All,

Bit of background on me first - taken the GMAT 2 times, first time scored 530 (Q27, V35), second time scored 550 (Q28, V38) with very minimal studying between tests. Since the second test I've started taking notes on the basics from the OG, revisiting number properties and other basic concepts. I'm also doing problems and recording in the error log. I don't know when I'll take the test again. It sort of dependson what's causing the issues...

I'm currently going through the OG 11th ed. and have done about the first 130 problem solving questions and in Data Suff. the first 40 questions. When doing the first 40 DS questions I only got 5 wrong. In PS questions I'm getting a few wrong here. Most of the time errors are due to misreading the question or a miscalculation. There haven't been many (maybe 5 or so) that I've been completely stumped.

At what point to do the questions in the OG Math become more difficult?
Can anyone post a 'medium level' question in DS and PS?

I am starting to wonder if it isn't the difficulty level that's causing the issues, but carelessness and making things harder than they really are (I tend to do that). With my studying and practice problems I've become a little more patient and don't jump to a conclusion about what the questions asking or how I think it should be solved...so I think that may be why I'm finding these questions easier?? Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks
