Hi everyone,

Happy Saturday!

I have a score of 700 in the GMAT. I am a graduate from one of the NITs with over 4 years of experience in the management consulting industry. My undergrad gpa is 8.03 and class XII percentage is 97.

I also have a couple of certificates under my name for organising music fests in college. Also, I have a patent for a social cause that I would like to highlight as well.

I wanted to get an opinion on the best colleges I can target with this profile.

Thanks in advance! :)

Hello As17798,

Thanks for writing in.

The information provided by you is very limited in terms of your goals, your achievements, and your overall profile. Thus, basing the evaluation only on GMAT score and years of experience will not be the best possible approach. Nonetheless, broadly you should be targetting the US top ~30 schools. This will also give you opportunities for scholarships.

Good luck!

Can you give us a bit more color on how you want to go about selecting your schools? The others here (who are excellent folks!) are suggesting US T30. No doubt that could be in the works.

However, what do YOU want? Are you looking exclusively at the US or other geographic areas? What kind of programs are you targeting? 2-year MBA? Do you want to be in an urban or campus environment? What do you want to study? How important is class size?

While ranking/brand is an important consideration, fit is arguably more important. The more information you can share, the easier it is for us to help you put together a list that will be well-fitting for you.
