Hello,

At the outset, I congratulate you on your relentless spirit. Keep it up!

I did not see any official material in your list; I hope that you have covered all the official material. In case you have not, please do so.

Here is an approach that I recommend:

1. Revise all the concept books that you have covered so far.
2. Re-attempt all the questions that you got incorrect in your previous rounds of preparation.
3. Figure out the key pain areas and study some dedicated concept books focusing on the same.
4. Undergo rigorous practice under time pressure; use a material that you have not seen already.
5. Take adequate number of mock tests.
6. An additional tip that I would like to give is to rigorously practice RCs. Often, RCs are underestimated by the GMAT aspirants; being good on RCs helps in overall reading and comprehension speed, something that is at the the crux of the 4 hours long GMAT. Have a fine approach for RCs and then practice 4 RCs per day for a month. You may see some significant improvement on your verbal section.

Rest, after the aforesaid, the score you get, must be your best score. Thereafter, proceed and apply. GMAT matters but is not everything. You can prepare strong applications and thereafter, whichever school you land in, you can perform in that ecosystem and go on to have a fine career for yourself.

All the best!
Maxximus!

thanks for a prompt reply
i will definitely look to follow the path shown by you and i know rc is weakest section
from where should i practice RC ??
is 1000 RC a good option

resources used :online : egmat and magoosh books: kaplan book,MGMATbooks, jeff sackman challenge set, veritas prep books, chilly hot gmat,Nirvana sc book and grockit book .i am running short on money so cant afford pricey online coaching or tutors

oishik2910, in these various resources, which ones would you recommend for Sentence Correction?

I am looking for some in-depth thorough material, because it looks like I am definitely going to need help in SC.

though I am not an expert in SC i get 70 to 80 percent of questions right so as you asked will tell from my experience

For SC i will suggest egmat gives you a thorough understanding but magoosh will give you help with tough sentences and extra verbiage
EGMAT is very good for learning the process but its bit of a time consuming i must say and application becomes very difficult at times
on other hand magoosh compiles some exceptional rules and techniques and other idioms usage that once you get through your thought process definitely works 95 percent of the time and increases your speed

apart from this if you are just beginning go with Manhattan gmat they have almost all the things but no practice so choice for you will be
if you wanna learn through concepts go with MGMAT but if with practice then accompany others
soon you will recognize the patterns and able to tackle them with ease
