So, there are a lot of CR questions, lots of guides and lots of tips/tricks circulating around the forum. Why not compile all of them in one place so that we can access them easily? This list will be periodically updated with new posts and threads that we think are useful.

Strategy Guides

Quote:

Quote:
1. Tag Lists by Forum - A very unique feature on GMAT Club that helps you sift through the forums and sort the problems by the question subtype they are tagged under. So if you think you're not good at the "Weaken" question type, go to the CR Forum tags and click on Weaken, and you'll get a list of problems tagged under that category!
2. Must Use Strategy for Critical Reasoning - MGMAT Blogs
3. Franklin's Super-Fly CR Question Thread - Franklin
4. If X, then Y - Help for CR- HongHu
5. Logical Fallacies - Help on CR/AWA - HongHu
6. Summary of the Powerscore CR Bible - MontrealLady

This thread will be updated with important threads and articles as and when they are brought to my attention. So if you find something that you think is worth sharing with everyone at GMAT Club, definitely PM me with a link to the thread/post.

Hope this helps!

Kind of pointless if this drowns in the sea of posts. Stickied. :)

No problem, Dreamy. That was the whole idea of putting a thread together. I am still searching the forum for some good posts, so keep checking back. I might start a thread for SC if I have time

Lol, I'm sorry; I haven't even started anything properly yet. The last two weeks have been remarkably hectic. I plan to finish MGMAT SC this weekend, then I'll write my notes out and put it up. I plan to participate in the Flashcard competition, so my stuff will be out before then, don't worry.

Excellent idea. I haven't read most of the links provided here. These links will become the ultimate preparation for CR. Thanks a lot. We need something like this for SC also.

You might want to try some LSAT questions. Aristotle prep has a free set in its website. Give it a shot.

I think it's a good idea to try some LSAT questions, specially if you think you are doing very well on GMAT-type CR questions. Do remember though that some of these questions have really vague answers.

I feel.... one can easily get confused with the tons of material..
Powerscore CR and OG coupled with practice test should be enough for CR.

I have purchased the MGMAT CR but i just feel it was not all that helpful. Maybe i should read it again, but do you think i would be better off with Powerscore CR Bible than wasting my time on MGMAT CR?
