A. "Herself the mother of seven children" serves as an absolute phrase - so no need for "being"

A is the best

All other options are redundant/wordy

what is wrong with E? is the usage of being is wrong in E?

Use being only when the idea cannot be expressed without its usage. Here the reflexive form of her expresses the idea clearly. Hence A

No gerund "being" is required in this absolute phrase. I chose E as my answer.
