A. "Herself the mother of seven children" serves as an absolute phrase - so no need for "being"

Use being only when the idea cannot be expressed without its usage. Here the reflexive form of her expresses the idea clearly. Hence A

No gerund "being" is required in this absolute phrase. I chose E as my answer.
