Hello
adkikaniIt will be helpful to analyze where are you falling short- Quant or Verbal? is there a type of questions are you getting incorrect (say SC or CR)
That may be used to assess where to focus more.
Also, GRE is equally accepted and there is no preference as such. If you feel you personally find the GRE easier to crack, then go for it.
There's no official data on GRE vs GMAT acceptance rate for ISB/IIM, so instead of speculating spend your energy on taking the exam you feel you have a better shot at.
Coming to your profile, remember that ISB/IIMA will evaluate your candidature based on
6 admission factors mentioned here.To have an edge in academics No doubt aim for a 710+ to be above the school's average.
In work ex, more than years or industry showcase what has been your career progression and key achievements in these 13 years?
Since you are slightly on the higher end of work ex- you will need to display more maturity here.
WOuld like to hear a little more around extracurricular activities as they highlight your diversity factor. And more than a laundry list- impact in these activities will be required.
Lastly I'm not sure if career goals are very realistic. Are you planning to move into Management Consulting? It may be quite difficult with 13 years of experience and from IIMA. I would recommend you to do your research and speak to other alumni/current students as well to know the real situation on ground zero.

Hi Everyone,
I having a tough time getting past descent score (read 700+) in GMAT mocks
and would like to know acceptance rates of Indian B schools wide GRE. Although
reputed schools like IIM s and ISB mention that they do accept candidates wide GRE,
practical acceptance rate seems less than 5%.
What can be best viable option for me?
