There is one thing I enjoy. It's going out on weekend with my friends and shooting clay pigeons. It's fun, it's a good way to relax and no animals get harmed.

But I'm a bit reluctant about showing this in my resume. I'm afraid that AdCom would consider me a kind of gun-loving right-wing freak.

What d'ya think?

I would say avoid. If there was some upside (teamwork, perseverance, etc) then I might say yes. But no upside whatsoever, and the downside risk you noted.

see, i disagree. I think that if you have a demonstrated passion for something, and are able to show commitment to your hobby, than why not? Schools are looking for diversity!

Have you competed in this hobby? are you able to comment on your progress? make sure that you can use the hobby as a vehicle to illustrate a bigger virtue -- like your achievement, perserverence, etc.

I would not automatically exclude this topic either. From your brief description it is difficult to tell what this adds but it certainly is memorable.
