Oxford has an 'old boys' network from what I've been told.- if you went for an interview say at a top firm somewhere in London , I bet you'd meet someone with an Oxford degree, or be interviewed by someone who has one. Definitely an advantage! I'm applying for Oxford Said. The degree is good value for money compared to LBS etc. and the reputation of Oxford is second to none in the world

It depends on what US schools are you comparing Oxford to.

In all honesty, a degree from a top 10 US school or from LBS/INSEAD is more highly regarded than a Said or Judge degree.

However, Said is considered a good 2nd tier MBA school. I believe that while Said would get you get you the same respect as an MBA from a 2nd tier MBA program. You will be slightly disadvantaged in your job search because Said has a smaller number of alumni in the U.S. However, if you are deciding between Said and second tier US schools and your heart is in attending Said, I would say go there.
