mohd45 – thank you for putting in the hard work. Preparing for the GMAT is hard and it takes perseverance to continue to put in the hard work to score in the 98th percentile.
The fact that put in the effort to create a behavioral
error log demonstrates that character. Creating a behavioral
error log is hard – in hard probably as hard as learning prethinking or the meaning-based approach.
Approach your applications with the same focus and zeal for excellence and you should be able to put in your best application forward.
bb – the last mile push is a special program designed to help students who plateau in the 660 to 710 range and want to score higher. While only one in five 660 scorers get to 740. Four out of five
(80%) students belonging to this program get there. This program has graduated
more than 250 students.
This is a program that we tinkered with (i.e. did a proof-of-concept phase) in December and productized the same in the May timeframe. What does this program do – it fixes the root cause of failure (to improve beyond that 660-score).
Often people fail to improve because of three reasons:
1. They have no clue as to how to improve.
2. They are not motivated to push further (we all give up at some time)
3. They don’t know what effort (and where) they need to put in to improve (i.e. should I practice more questions, do I need to rebuild my foundations, or should I focus on building
error log, etc.)
Internally, we have a team that focuses just on these students and helps them excel.
Some people who have a starting score 670 join this program. The two debriefs below are examples of those. Others are our students who start at much lower scores but reach the 660-700 range based on their diligence and then need help.
https://gmatclub.com/forum/3rd-time-luc ... 73465.htmlhttps://gmatclub.com/forum/sharing-my-g ... 73164.htmlAt any time, we work with 130+ such students and are working to increase the capacity to 200. This program free of charge for all
e-GMAT students, regardless of the course type.
I hope this helps!
