hi,

how many attempts u can take for GMAT? if u have taken 3-4 attepts and scored 700+ , how is it perceived by B- school?
any thoughts?

Hell everyone,
This is my second day here. The website is very informative and a great tool. I took the GMAT three years ago and scored 590. Q42 and V22. Obviously, my weak point is the verbal part. I have also noticed that probabilty and Standard Deviation are the new hurdles that one needs to overcome. Can someone post a typical GMAT probabilty/Standard Deviation question that one may face?

Also, I am thinking of taking the Kaplan online course? Any suggestions. Lastly, where do I get hold of the famous "power" software that everyone is talking about.

Hi Avtar, there are a lot of probability/combination problems in the math section and also in the difficulty based sections. Browse those forums. PP is powerprepp software offered at no cost by ETS. Here is the link to download it:
