1-1, 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7 - there are 7 columns

the middle number ranges from 0-9 - 10 rows

7 columns x 10 rows = 70 possibilities

for such kind of questions I always prefer to establish a patter instead of doing calculations or just plugging numbers
Pattern X_X where X same number and _ any numbers between them
X = from 1 to 7 (7 numbers)
_ can be any number from 0 to 9, total 10
total 7*10 = 70 combinations

The number will not change when their digits are reversed when the first and the last digit are same and we middle digit can be any number
So there are 7 choice for the first digit and last digit and 10 choices for middle digit
Therefore total number are =7*10=70
