1 is insufficient as we don't know if there is any direct route from Danton to griggston
2 is sufficient because we can calculate time and from that we can find the distance
30*t=45(t-3)
t=9
So distance will be 30*9=270

1) (1) is Insufficient, as the position of Milton with respect to Danton or Griggston is not given. Had it be given that Milton lies between Danton & Griggston and all three lie in a straight line, then (1) would have been alone sufficient.
2) (2) is Sufficient.
Let 't' be the time taken to travel from Danton to Griggston at a speed of 30 mph, and the distance between them be 'D'.
So, as given, 30*t = 45*(t-3).
Solving, we get, t = 9 hours.
So, D = 30*9 = 45*(9-3) = 270 miles.
Hence, sufficient.

So, correct answer is B.
