Distance = Speed x Time.

From statement 1:

D = 65(T-20) and
D= 60T.
Solving, 65T-1300 = 60T or T = \(\frac{1300}{5}\) = 260 min.

Distance = \(60*\frac{260}{60}\) = 260 miles.
Sufficient.

From statement 2:

Let the distance be x miles for half the route.
Given \(\frac{x}{2.5} = 52 or x = 52*\frac{5}{2}\) = 130 miles. Now total distance = 2x = 260 miles.
Sufficient.

D is the answer.
