Hi,

I just took a free diagnostic GMAT from Knewton.

The test result is as below.

Test Information (Score / Percentile Rank)
Verbal 23 / 31%
Quantitative 38 / 55%
Total 500 / 38%

My previous gmat score is 580(Verbal - 18 and Quant -50) five months back.
I did not touch quant from last 5 months, did not even solve a single problem, Started preparing with verbal section from last 3 weeks.
Given this back ground how should i analyse my diagnostic test score.

Thanks Srini for sharing you score. i was losing my sleep to the poor scoring i had from the same test yesterday. Here is what i got:

verbal:22, quant: 44, Total: 540.
(I am targetting for anything between 650-700)

Interesting to note I had taken the PowerPrep (Powerprep are practice tests distributed by the GMAC, before 2006, and were replaced by GMAT Prep.) and scored 640.

While reviewing Kaplan's evaluation of answers I found several typo errors in that and few answers differed from what people have responded to in forums at GMATClub (yes I posted few of them here). I may be wrong but to me lot of these tests make GMAT look tougher than it really is, to lure people to buy these courses

Thanks fo responding, KapTeacher. With another 1 week to go for my test I am focusing on sharpening the axe to the best possible extent and will not have time to open up the test results and search. If you can wait for a while, I will get back to you (thru PM) on this.

Whenever you're ready. In the mean time, keep up the hard work, and best of luck on your test.
